We, as members of the California state Republic, ARE the California state Republic. No member is above the other, and together, we the people will LAWFULLY restore and uphold the California state Republic’s Constitution of 1849.
About the Republic
The California state Republic of 1849 was the original, de jure government established by California's founding fathers. This true constitutional republican form of government was effectively set aside in 1879, when corporate interests assumed control and introduced a new state constitution. Most Californians were unaware of this transformation then — and many remain unaware today.
Similarly, the U.S. federal government had been corporatized earlier under the Organic Act of 1871. Over time, each level of government across the nation became corporate entities, with local governments functioning as franchises of those above them. As a result, lawful, people-based governance has long been replaced by administrative corporate structures.
Corporations can't create laws. They can only create private corporate policy, statutes and codes. Everything they have created that they currently call laws are really private corporate policy which they impose on the people (the people being "commercial vessels" which they created with the introduction of birth certificates).
Today, members of the original California state Republic of 1849 are lawfully reseating and restoring this true government under the leadership of former Interim Governor Douglas Hysell.
Re-populating the already Re-Inhabited seats of the Republic — Bringing back the American and California Dream
For generations, Americans have sensed that something is deeply wrong with our system of governance. Politicians often speak of "serving the people,” yet the power lies in the hands of corporations, lobbyists, and unelected bureaucrats, instead of the people they claim to serve. Laws increasingly cater to special interests, while families, small communities, and the homeless are left behind.
The California state Republic of 1849 is grounded in the belief that our founders gave us an enduring gift — a Constitutional Republic in which government serves the people, not the reverse. Over time, that vision has been eroded by corporate influence and greed, political theater, and misplaced priorities.
Our purpose is to restore constitutional self-governance in California peacefully and lawfully — beginning at the grassroots level. We aim to empower counties to function as de jure self-governing entities, marked by minimal regulation, reduced bureaucracy, and a renewed commitment to protecting God-given rights.
But this mission is about more than governance. It’s about rebuilding the bonds of community — fostering health, prosperity, and unity among families and neighbors. It’s about preserving the right of parents to raise and educate their children freely and ensuring that true education, not indoctrination, thrives once again.
What the California state Republic is NOT:
1. The California Republic is not part of or associated with sovereign anarchistic groups or movements.
2. The California Republic is not part of or associated with unlawful anarchistic militia groups or movements.
3. The California Republic is not part of or associated with nation state groups or movements.
4. The California Republic is not part of any type of IRS corporation (501c3, 508 or any kind of PMA commerce) or financial fraud.
5. The California Republic is not part of any groups or movements that promote violence of any kind.
6. The California Republic is not part of the unlawfully chartered UNITED STATES or CALIFORNIA STATE municipal Corporations, their agents, or any of their sub-corporations, either directly or indirectly. This includes any of their political parties.
What the California state Republic IS:
1. The California Republic is the only lawful provisional (interim) government in California.
2. The California Republic is peacefully, honorably, and lawfully repopulating the original California Republic guaranteed by the Constitution for the United States of America that was vacated in 1871 by unconstitutional acts of Congress.
3. The California Republic has been in operation since 2011 as the provisional interim government. The goal is to bring California into complete compliance with the Constitution and be recognized as the civil authority by the military.
4. The California Republic is a peaceful, honorable, and lawful interim government which relies on Common Law as its foundation, not violence or power.
5. We the people of the California Republic 1849 support our Commander-In-Chief as he directs the military's plan to restore our Republic and give it back to the people.
